Subject: Celebration of Elizabeth

hello carly, thought i would let you know something about the memorial
yesterday in case you haven't heard yet.

it was a blustery, overcast day with intermittent rain but that didn't
seem to discourage people from coming! we had quite a large crowd with
many umbrellas in attendance since we carried on outside as planned.

barbie began the celebration saying the affirmation for harmony house,
with everyone repeating each line after her - it felt very powerful. then
a beautiful song of elizabeth's was played, i'm sorry to say i don't know
the name of it, but you probably know it, it's the one about a lake near
findhorn, elizabeth's exquisite clear voice and guitar with wonderful
flute accompaniment. next, quite a few people spoke, read emails from
various friends and business associates, told anecdotes about elizabeth,
etc. so much love was flowing all around. i want you to know that you
were there as allen read an excerpt from your book, i believe chapter 15,
the one elizabeth helped you perfect. someone also read a beautiful email
from antonia - overall, many references were made to the findhorn
community and i want you all to know that your presence was so strongly
felt. barbie's loving mother was the last person to speak and her words
were so touching as she spoke of elizabeth and the mother-daughter bond
they developed together.

the celebration came to a conclusion with elizabeth's incredible song
about a river here in florida and the lessons we can learn from nature if
we will only listen. as her lovely voice floated gently and powerfully
through the crowd, i felt such a sense of peace, love and gratitude that
elizabeth left us all such a wonderful legacy.

many friends lingered for hours after the celebration, looking through
photograph albums, reading emails from all around the world expressing
love and admiration for elizabeth, scanning technical articles by
elizabeth in guitar and recording magazines, eating good food, and just
in general loving each other. at the end of the evening, when just a few
close friends and family remained, two personal articles by elizabeth were
read aloud, one by barbie's sister mary ellen and one by her friend
sandi. sandi read "pixie pirate", the story of elizabeth and barbie
meeting and falling in love. it is a funny, sweet story - the perfect
conclusion to a perfect celebration of elizabeth's life. she will
continue to affect so many of us in so many ways.

EMAIL SUBJECT: My former sister-in-law but always 'sister-in-light'

Dear Barbie and friends of Elizabeth,

It is now 2:01pm Arizona time(4:01pm your time). I was Elizabeth's sister-in-law
when she was married to Allen.
Because I was unable to be at Harmony House in person, I decided to tune in to her memorial from here(Avondale, near Phoenix), lighting a candle, with rose petals and white carnations,, Sai Baba incense, drinking some peach wine out of the wine glass she gave me when I visited them in Gainesville at Christmas about 5 years ago, and the Medicine Woman CD as background music. I've been on the internet, enjoying the playfulspirits memorial, reading her story and music, and reading the messages from others, as well as getting a message from Elizabeth. I was so happy that my brother had found someone as wonderful as Elizabeth. It was delightful to meet her and spend time with her while she was married to Allen. After their divorce, he always kept me up to date on what was happening in her life. I am so glad that she found the Love, Joy, & Peace which had alluded her so much during most of her life. I know she made her transition in peace, finding true freedom.

Well... I am SO grateful and feel really Blessed right Now ! I love all
you friends sisters and brothers ! I have been gathering together photos
and correspondence for folks to see at the Memorial and there will be
people speaking for those who cannot attend or for those who feel unable
to do so. I have found I think all of her articles Elizabeth wrote for
acoustic guitar magazine and some really great photos and please feel more
than welcome to have photos you might have or anything you would like to
share ! Please also try and ride with others if possible so there will be
no parking hassles . Blessings to all.....!!! See you on Sunday the
9th from 2:00 on through the full moon. Elizabeth is very proud of all the Love and
support. what a great community we all Share !

From US 1 North, turn left on Hwy 16. (By Marty's Seafood) Turn right onto Lewis speedway (First light). continue on this road until you see a sign for a church. Turn left on the 2nd road past the sign (Old Lewis speedway). go a very short distance, take your immediate left onto Tart Rd. Harmony House is on the left hand side, you may park parallel along the road. barbie suggests we all car-pool if possible.

Dear friends,

I am very grateful for all the outstanding LOVE and Support. The Memorial for my Sweet Elizabeth will be on November 9th. It is a Sunday with a Full Moon that evening which as most know was Elizabeth's favorite time of the month. We would often go to the Beach before sunset and stay through the Moonrise. It will be a wonderful day to reflect and reminisce.
This will be a day to shine ! This will be a Day to Remember a Magnificent Woman !
Elizabeth designed our home and was the general contractor too so that is why Allen and I thought to have it at Harmony House which is the name Lil and I chose for our Home.
2 pm in the after noon Will be when it starts and more news will follow. We will see you all there.

I would Kindly like to let you all know that My sweet Elizabeth donated 3 of her organs. Definitely Liver and kidney and I will find out more soon. I went today to get her ashes and well there are few words to describe the journey. I love you all and will keep you informed as well as I can. SHE is still running MY show! I wish everyone of you to be blessed to have a Love that is everlasting because well... it is grand!!!
